Romanzi Rosa Homage

Kay Hooper è nata in California, nell'ospedale di una base aerea militare in cui era assegnato suo padre all'epoca. La famiglia si è poi trasferita nel North Carolina, dove Kay è cresciuta e si è diplomata presso la East Rutherford High School. All'Isothermal Community College ha presto scoperto che le le lezioni di economia non la interessavano affatto, così è passata a lezioni a suo avviso più coinvolgenti, come storia e letteratura.

Ben presto si è concentrata sulla scrittura, che l'aveva interessata da sempre, e ne è rimasta conquistata: come regalo di Natale ha chiesto una macchina da scrivere ed ha cominciato così a lavorare al suo primo romanzo. Quel libro, un romanzo d'amore dal titolo "Lady Thief", è stato pubblicato nel 1980 e da allora ha pubblicato più di 60 romanzi e 4 racconti lunghi, di cui alcuni con lo pseudonimo di Kay Robbins.

Kay è single e vive in una piccola cittadina del North Carolina - non lontano da suo padre e dai suoi fratelli - insieme a quattro gattoni deliziosi.
