Chi è Akemi TAKADA? ^_^ Una domanda più che legittima per i neofiti o per chi è semplicemente capitato qui per pura curiosità... ^__^. Akemi TAKADA è una illustratrice giapponese e l'autrice di tutte le immagini che abbondano in questo sito. E' famosa in Italia per essere la character designer (colei, cioè che crea graficamente i personaggi dei cartoni animati giapponesi) di serie di successo come "L'incantevole Creamy" ("Maho no tenshi Creamy Mami"), "E' quasi magia Johnny" ("Kimaore Orange Road"), "Lamù la ragazza dello spazio" ("Urusey Yatsura") e "Cara dolce Kyoko" ("Maison Ikkoku"), ma la sua attività non si limita a questo.
Mrs. TAKADA, infatti, oltre che a lavorare per l'animazione, in Giappone è autrice di illustrazioni originali per copertine di CD musicali (spesso legati alle stesse serie che lei ha disegnato) o di riviste e libri al cui successo il suo particolare stile non può che contribuire. Ultimamente si è anche dedicata ai videogiochi.
E' indubbio che questa disegnatrice riesca a dare ai suoi personaggi dei tratti molto dolci ed, allo stesso tempo, decisamente sensuali: le "sue" ragazze sembrano ammiccare dolcemente a chi le ammira e non sono mai, mai, mai volgari. Per questo riscuotono molto successo sia tra i maschietti che tra le femminucce ^__^.Se volete saperne di più sulla sua persona e sulla sua carriera, posso dirvi che è nata a Tokyo il 31 Marzo 1952 e che è sposata con lo scrittore Ito Kazunori, lo sceneggiatore di "Creamy Mami".
Akemi TAKADA si è laureata alla "Tama University of Art" prima di venire assunta nel 1977 dalla storica "Tatsunoko Production", la casa di produzione a cui si devono serie di grande successo come "Kagaku ninjatai Gatchaman" (La battaglia dei pianeti) o "Hurricane Polimar". Qui si è dedicata alla creazione grafica di personaggi secondari di serie come "Ippatsu Kanta Kun" (Il fichissimo del baseball), "Tondemo Senshi Muteking" e le nuove serie sui "Gatchaman".
Alla proposta di collaborare con lo staff che avrebbe creato il cartone animato di Lamù, nei primissimi anni 80, ha lasciato la Tatsunoko ed è diventata free-lance... iniziando così a collezionare un successo dopo l'altro, fino ad arrivare ad oggi con "Maho no stage Fancy Lala", cartone animato molto simile a "Creamy Mami" .
Come si usa spesso in Giappone, le sue illustrazioni sono state raccolte in libri - i famosi Art Books - ed in CD-Rom, per la gioia di tutti i suoi fans che non vogliono perdersene neppure

This is a lawful question for the neophytes of japanese animation, or for whoever is got here for simple
curiosity... ^__^. First of all, Akemi TAKADA is *not* the creator of this site but the artist which this site is devoted to: Akemi TAKADA is a japanese illustrator and she's the author of all images which abound on this site. She's notorious in Italy being the character designer (who creates graphically the characters of the japanese animation) of successful series like "Maho no tenshi Creamy Mami", "Kimaore Orange Road","Urusey Yatsura" and "Maison Ikkoku", but her activity is not limited to this. In fact in Japan Mrs. TAKADA, besides to work to the animation, is the author of original illustrations for covers of musical CDs (often strictly connected to the same series she designed) or covers of magazines, books and videogames to whose success her particular style surely contributes. She's able to give very sweet trains to her characters and, at the same time, decidedly sensual: "her" girls seems to wink tenderly to whom admire them and they aren’t never, never, never vulgar. That's why they receive the same success between boys and girls. If you want to know more about her and her career, I'll tell you that she was born in Tokyo on 31st March (she never revealed the year of birth ^__^) and she married the writer Ito Kazunori, the scriptwriter of "Creamy Mami". Akemi TAKADA took a degree from "Tama University of Art" before working for the historical "Tatsunoko Production" (do you know "Yattaman" or "Gatchaman" ?!). When she receives the proposal to collaborate with the people who would create the TV series of "Urusey Yatsura", she decided to leave the "Tatsunoko" and becoming a free-lance illustrator. She collected a success after the other... till today with "Maho no stage Fancy Lala", a TV series - currently on the air in Japan - very similar to "Creamy Mami" . As it's used to be done in Japan, her illustrations have been collected in books - the famous "Art Books" - and CD-Roms for the joy of all her fans that don't want to loose even one! ^_^
